The Sagebrush Inn is Tombstone’s oldest motel, first built in 1947 and fully renovated in 2022. Positioned to offer guests spectacular views of the nearby Dragoon Mountains and the rugged, painterly sunsets famous to the region. Enjoy totally modern amenities in a historic locale, where movie legends like John Wayne, Maureen O’Hara, and Glen Ford once laid their heads.
We welcome each guest to our property with complimentary freshly baked cookies and encourage them to settle in before taking a short walk up the hill to historic Allen Street. Relax at the end of a long day with our picnic tables and gas fire pit, or play horseshoes and corn-hole with the whole family, materials available at the front desk upon request. Later, bask in the spectacular Tombstone sunset from the comfort of our shaded porch furniture. Guests can also check out their favorite western on DVD, and grab a snack from our vending machine to finish off their night.

We had a wonderful experience at the sagebrush motel, it was clean, comfortable and affordable. Great location, walking distance to all the famous locations in tombstone. They have a nice patio area with a propane grill and fire pit we enjoyed it. We stayed in room 2 double queen it was spacious and comfortable. We will be staying here next time we visit!!
From the hitching post, designated parking in front of our room, to the bathroom barn door…we loved this hotel. Our room (Doc Holiday) was spacious, cozy, and perfectly cleaned. It had exactly what we needed…fridge, microwave and coffee maker. The bathroom has been newly renovated and was very nice. The entire room looked newly renovated. It is an air conditioned room with a ceiling fan as well. The bed was extremely comfortable.
